Smile suggest a resource.....Python with Web Development In Mind ? (tutorial/book/etc)

I have decided to learn python as it seems to be powerful not just for web development (like php) but also a clean powerful language for other puposes.

Q: Can someone please suggest a tutorial or book, on learning python (beginner to intermediate) which has as its focus for learning, web development?

in order of preference:
1. Comprehensive, 2. Online, 3. Free

I can't think of any web development tutorial for Python beginners. However, going through the tutorial on Python.org (for Python) and then the tutorial on www.djangoproject.com (for web development) should get you up to speed at an appropriate pace.

Will do. And thanks for the edit just trying to get a number of suggestions from people that might differ as to give a wider selection of resources. Thanks again for the suggestion.
