What I typically start with is a Google or Yahoo search on the topic that I want to learn about. In your case here, I would do a search for "LAM/MPI Libraries" "LAM/MPI APIs" or "C++ LAM/MPI Libraries" You would be surprised what comes up. In fact, it is with that method that I found LinuxQuestions.org.
