store list items written in cgi script to mysql database


Hi,
New to cgi programming (my question says that ;-) )

I wish to store a selected item from the list box to mysql database.
also other items like radio buttons items.

CGI is not a language, its a Protocol : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Common_Gateway_Interface
HTML is a page layout language, it cannot do what you want directly: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Html

Kash, I am trying not to be rude, but if I look at your posts history I get the idea that you think it is easier to post your question here rather than to Google.

Contrary to Google, the time of the members kindly helping you is not free. After all it is your project, and it is kind of unpolite to show so obviously that you don't want to put effort in looking around for yourself first, and you don't even want to put some effort in elaborating on your question.

No problem jlinkels, but as a learner I first google arnd and also I feel posting a question here as the last option. coming to elaborating my question. I promise I will improve on that.
