Starting an application on X by console


Maybe this is a bash problem. If somebody can help me...

Try to change the X test like :

Code:
# is X running on display 0 ?
if [ -f /tmp/.X0-lock ]; then
    # X is running
    dialog=/opt/kde/bin/kdialog
else
    dialog=/bin/dialog
fi
