Simulated mouse clicks in linux?
 

Im looking to simulate mouse clicks within a window. I am wondering if this is possible under linux (i know its can be done in windows). i want to create a simple macro recorder to record and play back mouse clicks. I just have no idea where to start... any help is appreciated
