Simple shell script to open up terminal and ssh to another machine

I am looking to make a script that setups my desktop, which includes opening up a bunch of terminals, and ssh'ing from those terminals to another box, as well as opening up a webpage with firefox.

I know how to open up a terminal, but I'm not sure how to send a command to it so that it will ssh to a box (which requires a password) automatically - and then actually run a particular script.

So basically what I do now, is open up the terminal, ssh to a box , and then run the script "doSomething" How can I get all that in the shell script. Thanks.

Hi there

First of all, you must make your ssh connexions using SHA or DSA keys.
You can have a read of http://www.linuxquestions.org/linux/...ation_with_ssh

The explanations are pretty good.

Cheers
