shell scripting and perl

Hello,

I would like to call a perl script from a shell script and pass data to the perl script. Any idea how this can be done?

Unfortunately, I don't have the option to execute the perl script directly.

Thanks in advance.

You could try this:

Code:
#!/bin/sh
TO_PERL_01="Whatever"
NAME_PERL_SCRIPT "Noot" "$TO_PERL_01"
From within the perlscript you can pickup Noot and $TO_PERL_01 as $1 and $2
