setting glassfish behind apache

Hello,

I am trying to set glassfish behind apache using these instructions.

I try to configure apache but i do not really know which '.so' file to put in '/etc/httpd/modules'. Does anybody know which '.so' file they mean?

Thank you.

Off: if you don't need any other service of Apache then you can use iptables to redirect port
google finds examples like this: http://proghowto.com/iptables-redire...0-to-port-8080

Can not start apache

Hello,

I am running glassfish on port 8080, and now I am trying to start apache with the following command but I am getting an error that no socket is listening.

Quote:
$ /apache/bin/apachectl start
no listening sockets available, shutting down
AH00015: Unable to open logs
Does anybody know how to overcome this error?

Thank you

NevemTeve,

Many thanks for your help. Actually I also tried as root but I get the same error. Do you know what might cause that error?

Have you got any "Listen" lines in the Apache-config files?
