serial port hardware flowcontrol


if I didn't define:
c_clag |= ( CNEW_RTSCTS )

is hardware flowcontrol enabled by default?

I am not sure but i think its not. You can simply check it by using tcgetattr

The code will be something like that:

struct termios getstat;

fd = open("your device path", O_NDELAY);

tcgetattr( fd, &getstat );

if ( (getstat.c_cflag & CNEW_RTSCTS) = CNEW_RTSCTS )
{

// It is enabled

}

else
// it is disabled
