Question send packet at network

Hi all,

Do you know how to send some packets (broadcast socket) to another computers but don't know that computer's ip address on network (like dhcp client solve dhcp server to archive ip address on network).

Please help me serve this problem by C/C++.

Thank you very much.
James

Here's the RFC for DHCP/BOOTP. It should give you a great idea of how it works:
