Lightbulb Send a mail to groups of mails stored in a file

I need to use a single command to read the list of mail ids in a file and send a mail to those users from the command prompt

I am using Ubuntu intrepid. I tried configuring my mail server to send mails from the command prompt.

I tried these below links...

http://www.debianadmin.com/how-to-se...nd-others.html

http://www.quietearth.us/articles/20...mand-line-mail

http://www.cyberciti.biz/tips/sendin...ttachment.html

Nothing worked. I'm trying to help my friend whose requirement I've posted here. Also, I have an idea like this. Store a set of mail ids in a texteditor and read from the file pass it as an input to mail command.
