Question Scrolling mouse wheel programatically

Hi all,
I have to make the scroll event programatically in my module under Suse-10.2.
Is there any API for making mouse wheel event.???

Thanks in advance.

If you know the API for making a button press, it's mouse buttons 4 and 5 that are generated by the scroll wheel.
