running iptable ( sbin command ) on webapplication


hi all ,
I want to run iptable command via web application program like php or perl or cgi
any one can help me how I can run it to enable me running system command via apache user ?

You would need to change the group owner of /sbin/iptables to 'apache' and make sure that the group has permissions to execute it (ie: chmod g+x /sbin/iptables)

I do hope you realize the security implications that this creates...
