Root on LG VS840 4G

Hello,

I have the above model cell phone with Verizon. I am trying to get root access. I have tried using suggestions from Androidquestions.org but none have been helpful.

If someone could help me with this, I would greatly appreciate the help. I will give more information once someone has replied. Thanks!

Thank you. However, how will I know if it has been done successfully or not? I have an application that is requesting root access and I cannot tell if I have successfully gotten root access. Thanks. This is the response I get on my pc screen:
[*][*] LG Spectrum Root Exploit (Windows version)[*] by Dan Rosenberg (@djrbliss)[*][*] Before continuing, ensure USB debugging is enabled, that you[*] have the latest LG drivers installed, and that your tablet[*] is connected via USB.[*][*] Press enter to root your phone...
Press any key to continue . . .[*][*] Waiting for device...
* daemon not running. starting it now *
* daemon started successfully *
