Reading rpm database.


Hello,

I want to read a rpm database through my program in c ,I searched for it and found there is one library openly available that is rpmlib thorugh which we can access rpm databse but I want to use it from windows is it possible to read one rpm database from windows ,
If yes then kindly tell me about it.

The "rpm database" is on the host that has rpm's installed. This is simply a database of the packages that were installed on that host. Your question seems to be implying you think that there is some sort of central database for all RPMs and that is not the case. Checking an "rpm database" from a Windows host would not be possible because a Windows host does not use rpm packages.

If you mean you want to check rpm database for a given Linux host from your Windows host you would have to first figure out how you're attaching to the host to get the information.
