random image with gtk

i want to display on the screen an image which changes randomly

i've tried with gtk_timout_add(100, (GtkFunction) My_Function_Image, (gpointer) My_Box); but it doesn't work

My_Box is the box in which i want the image to be shown off

there are no errors on the compilation but it displays nothing on the screen

what can i do ???

thank for your help

I'm not too experienced with gtk programming, but more lines of the program would be useful, especially My_Function_Image.
