Question About Thread

How can you determine that a thread has been cancelled via
pthread_cancel or has exited via pthread_exit

Hi,

a posix thread terminating because of pthread_cancel always returns PTHREAD_CANCELED, which is (void*)-1
while a thread terminating via pthread_exit could (and probably should ) return a different, user defined value.

so long...
