programming program help

hello! i seem to have run into a problem. recently i have gone back to tafe and i have a programming class (well actually 2 but they are the same thing) and we use delphi 7.

the predicament i'm in is that i need to do work at home and refuse to use windows (other than the fact of it being shite, i'd have to look for the cd).
so what program can i use that is like delphi 7 so that i dont learn about using delphi and then come home and use a completely different program???

would delphi work with cross over????
