Power Management not working on embedded MIPS when using /sys/power/state
I am attempting to suspend an embedded device running MIPS Linux using:
# echo -n mem > /sys/power/state
-sh: echo: write error: Invalid argument
Any idea's why this is failing?
If I try:
# cat /sys/power/state
there is no output, so something is not quite right and I am not sure where to start looking. From the kernel config screen the Power Management features are on.
Oh, and CONFIG_HOTPLUG=y is defined and the kernel version is 2.6.31.
