Hi,

I am having a rather bothering issue with an eps file that display a parentheses instead of an "i"... would anybody know how to display "i" and not have tthat letter interpreted wrongly ? Drives me crazy...

Thanks a lot for any help

Marc

PS : the attached file is actually an eps file. The one that does not work and displays "t(me" instead of "time"

The eps file was generated with a partial font embedding (this is normal). The only characters from the label font embedded in this one are '().01234567MPaehmpst'. The character 'i' is not included, so your viewer/printer is just using the first character '(' as a substitute.

If you can't change the source and regenerate the eps file, then you will need to manually add the characters you need to the TeXDict section (ideally you would know what the font and font size is).
