Please show me some documents about C++ in linux

First of all, I am a Visual basic programmer.
I know neither about C++ (I can understand
C code) nor programing in linux.

I have been seeking for documents for a long times
but they point to either Visual C++ for Windows or
comerical book. Free documents assume that I
've already known about C++.

So, if you know some where contains the free documents
I need, please show me, or send it to me at pntruongan2005@gmail.com.
