I'm a little confused here!

if you do this:

$var_I=$_POST['I'];
then do this (or any of the other variations, p.s. isn't that supposed to be == ?):

if (!($var_I=$_POST['I']))
isn't the result always predictable?


Also as Maz_ also indicates, i'd use isset() which checks to see if the named variable is in the servers predefined variables. (if that reads right?)
