Question PHP/html forum

I am new at doing this, but I am making a simple PHP/html forum. I have a few things done already.

How do I make it so my posts stay on the forum index page forever instead of going away after I leave the page?

we have not agot the slightest clue about what you're doing, so I don't see how we're meant to really understand what your asking let alone help... The only stab in the dark is that you need to put the data into a database and requery each load. But then surely you're using mysql or postgresql already anyway...

1st, does your Q apply to this site, or some other?

2nd, assuming you are asking about LQ, are you suggesting the creation of a sub-forum for PHP/html in, say, Programming; or perhaps permission to create sticky posts?

Your Q is unclear enough that you really should consider reading http://www.catb.org/~esr/faqs/smart-questions.html

BTW, I think a PHP/html sub-forum in Programming is a fine idea, in which case this thread should probably be moved to: Website Suggestions & Feedback
