Question Perl pattern matching in VB


Hi,

Does anyone knows of a Visual Basic routine that can make the job that pattern matching does in Perl?

For example:

@info = $data =~ m/\d{1,3}\.\d{1,3}\.\d{1,3}\.\d{1,3}/gmi; #to extract IP addresses from $data

there are plenty of hits for regular expressions on VB. http://www.google.co.uk/search?q=vb+regex I would only explain them to you via something i read off of there. looks like a really nasty fudge to try to make VB look less awful...
