Perl/CGI Creating Auto Logouts (like bank sites)

Good day, I am trying to set up my site so that users are automatically logged out at a pre-determined amount of time and I want to configure it so that they cannot use the "reload" or "backup" buttons. Basically I am looking to set up the same idea as online banking, when you are logged out you cannot use the "reload" or "backup"buttons and when you do you get "page expired" or a similar message.

I am using the Apache web server and I have all of the available modules installed ( or at least what came with the download automatically). I have ExpiresActive set to "on" and set setup ExpiresDefault for the correct directory but I am not sure if this has anything to do with what I am trying to accomplish.

Does anyone have any ideas? I have been researhing this and have found no good clues or explanations.

Thanks,

Anthony

Yes but this time I decided to clarify my question and give an example of my code, this way it would make it easier for those trying to help me.

I also realized afterward that the heading of my post looked like I may have been posting an answer or tip instead of a question.
