perl and apache
 
I want to run simple perl script whenever apache http server receives a HTTP Request. can any one tell me an example.

Are you trying to write a cgi-program or a filter of sorts?

When server receives a request i want to read http headers and log in a file and then return control to apache server for normal flow like displaying the page.
