Patching Question

Are there any utilities out there that will compare to C files for differences and then create a C patch for one of them? Or any patchers that will compare to binaries and then create a C patch for them? I have found one called "repeat" from packetstormsecurity.org but it does not work very well. Thanks!

Use diff and patch to find and patch differences in C files. Look over the man pages for them and post if you have any questions. I've never been a fan of batching binaries, I just replace them.

Thanks crabboy. Im looking over the manpages now but neither of these will create an actual patch.c file. This is what i was looking for, although this does help. I understand theres not much need for binary patching in the linux world. But there are a few out there Im sure.
