Question openmp in suse 10.2

how can i enable openmp support for C in suse 10.2 ?
the -fopenmp is not recognized by the cc or gcc
the same code is working on solaris 10 and fedora core 6
do we have to install some openmp package or is there some problem with the path or what???

I think you have to use GOMP:

thanx hewnet
sorry i was fooled by the openmp support in fedora core 6
FC6 uses gcc 4.1.1 and they have provided it with openmp support
suse 10.2 uses gcc 4.1.2 but it does not support openmp and therefore the switch "-fopenmp" wont work
lets wait till gcc 4.2 is released which will support openmp
n by the way yes gomp does work
cheerz
