OpenGL program freezes RH 9.0

My openGL programs compile fine but the system freezes when I execute them. I am forced to restart the computer. However, when I execute the same programs at a different Linux workstation, they work great.

Please give me suggestion on what the problem could be? The kernel is 2.4.20-8 with a Radeon 9000 Pro video card. I am not sure if its the video card or the openGL libraries that cause this problem.

Firstly, have you installed the drivers from the manufacturers? The drivers supplied with distros are more likely to be 'generic' type drivers.

Secondly, you have posted this 3 times - the mods will come down on you for this. You should only post once.

Thirdly, this post is in the wrong forum - think this is more a software (poss. hardware post.

Anyway, try the latest drivers, that may help.
