open source games in need of graphic design work?

Hi. I'm looking for ways to practice my fledging 2-D and 3-D graphics design skills, that would be beneficial to the FOSS community and might help connect my graphics design and programming skills. I was wondering if anyone knew of any young FOSS games that needed graphics work, or old FOSS games that just haven't received enough attention there yet. To be honest, I'm just too busy these days to install all the games in my repository and try them out.

I'd prefer to work with some game where my work would be straight-forward, and likely to be quickly used and appreciated; as opposed to, for example, some mature game like Xonotic where there is already a large ecosystem of graphics designers who are five times as good as I am.

I am developing a game at the moment called Butaba's Adventures http://gitorious.org/butaba, a 2D RPG style game.

The style is 2D, tile graphics with no animation required. Just character art, portraits and backgrounds. Check out my own work for reference.

Can you post some of your work just for a reference? I prefer to create my own graphics mostly, but if you're willing to release some of your work under any open license I would be interested to use and credit you for it.

I can think of a poster who might benefit from your help:

I don't have a portfolio to show off at present (hence the wanting to get involved) though I am trying to upload practice materials I do to my site. (See signature link.) My preferred license for graphics is CC-SA.

I am looking through the Butaba source code. Is there anything particular you would like more of? I could always create additional terrain tiles or sprites, and then you could pick and choose what you like. But of course it is more likely to be helpful if I know what kind of items you think you'll need. (E.g., types of characters or types of terrain.)

Thanks for the offer. :)

Currently development of this game is stalled becaue of lack of time, but sure, I could use terrain tiles, particularly rocky terrain that fits in with my current graphics. Also any tree/bush/forest tiles would be welcome.
