Num Lock?


I am trying to get the num lock on so i added the following to my bash script
echo -e "\033[2q Num On Other Off"

It does not turn on the num Lock?

Is there another method?

You didn't say which linux you use but look in your package manager for numlock and install is the easy way.

The program is called numlockx if you can find it.
