nstalling ODBC provider for MYSQL in Linux

I want to install ODBC provider(MYODBC) for MYSQL running on Red Hat Linux 6.2. I have downloaded the rpm required for installing MYODBC.Can u please tell me the steps for insaalling and configuring this MYODBC.Also the steps required to create a DSN.Mysql i already installed in the system
Pls Note :There is no X-Windows in my machine.So plz tell me the steps from command prompt
