Smile No rule to make target `missing-syscalls'

I build the code and I expect the following message should display:

make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.18-274.el5-x86_64'
CHK include/linux/version.h
CHK include/linux/utsrelease.h
HOSTCC scripts/genksyms/genksyms.o
HOSTCC scripts/genksyms/lex.o
HOSTCC scripts/genksyms/parse.o
HOSTLD scripts/genksyms/genksyms

But the mesaage is

[root@localhost volaris]# make
make -C /lib/modules/2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64/build M= modules
make[1]: Entering directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64'
CHK include/linux/version.h
CHK include/linux/utsrelease.h
SYMLINK include/asm -> include/asm-x86
make[2]: *** No rule to make target `missing-syscalls'. Stop.
make[1]: *** [prepare0] Error 2
make[1]: Leaving directory `/usr/src/kernels/2.6.32-220.el6.x86_64'
make: *** [default] Error 2

How can I correct the error?

Thank you very much~

Some target has dependency on missing-syscalls , but the latter is either missing a shell line or you're missing a tab. Can't say much without taking a look into you Makefile. Try to make a dependency chain of targets in your Makefile, using pen and paper. I'm sure you'll find something missing.
