New to JSP and the Tomcat Container
 

Hi

I'm a Tandem programmer who is very new to the JSP environment. I created a simple JSP module to interact with a java servlet. I'm currently using Eclipse 3.1 with the Tomcat plugin and the JDK 5.0_06. I'm using Tomcat 4.0.6. standalone. I was able to load my jsp file along with a list of other existing jsp modules to the localhost. The directory listing comes up with my jsp module but when I click on it, I get the error message
"APACHE TOMCAT /4.0.6 - HTTP STATUS 500 - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR".

I'm not sure where to go from here.

Have a look at Tomcat logs in the logs directory of Tomcat.
