You could start at http://learn.perl.org/ and then head over to http://www.perl.com/pub/q/documentation. There are plenty of perl tutorials around - and perl will be around for a long time to come...

May I add:

http://perldoc.perl.org/

It has the whole perl docu in html format which makes it nice to read. Look at the tutorials section. The whole site can be downloaded and browsed locally on your machine if you wish.

'Learning Perl the Hard Way', a PDF book:

http://www.greenteapress.com/perl/

You may also be eventually interested in reading the Perl Monks site with its everyday load of questions and more:

http://www.perlmonks.org/

Cheers.
