need help with IP split


I want to take an IP and chop off the last part of it (IE: 10.0.0.1 would be 10.0.0) and compare it to an array. I know how to compare, I just forgot how to split and keep the first part

hmm what language? nobody can help unless you tell us that as the method varies between languages and is impossible in others
