need help compiling


sorry if this is not the right place coz im not a programmer myself ... im just trying to compile a program and i get this error even tho i have the requied lib

im just wondering if that's the right lib. if not can someone provide me the right one so i can get this prog compiled please? thanks. im using redhat 2.4.20-8

What program are you trying to compile? Are you sure it's designed for your machine architecture? Those are errors related to assembly language instructions, which are specific to a particular architecture. If the software was written for some non-x86 architecture, the assembly language portions probably won't compile on an x86.
