my perl program so segfault error 4 in libperl.so


my program status_update.pl so the fallowing error in var/log/message

Dec 06 16:23:51 Czentrix_ACD2 kernel: status_update[27762]: segfault at 88c ip 0000003dc3c9d0ce sp 00007f49e10cec40 error 4 in libperl.so[3dc3c00000+19f000]

at the same time in error log i get the error

2012-12-06 16:23:51 MySQL server has gone away at 2

If we are to help you, we will probably need to see the contents of "status_update.pl" - and if you've managed to work out which line causes the error, that would be helpful too. (note: when you post the code, remember to use [code][/code] tags around it, please!)
