Unhappy my anjuta cant build.can anybody please help???


i installed ubuntu 8.04 ultimate 1.9 version.but here anjuta doesnt work.it has compile and build option but those options doesnt work.i tried to activate the c++ and java plugins in preference option but i cant be activated.and when i try to open a c++ type new file it says the autogen package is missing.but i cant find autogen package.can anybody please tell me what to do??

sudo apt-get install autogen

(on my box it is as easy as that [8.04])

apt-cache search SomePackage
will be your friend if there is sth missing on your box
