Unhappy mounting lost+found directory only


Hi Buddies,
By using rescue disk i mounted my file system on "/mnt/temp". Now in that /mnt/temp directory only "lost+found" directory is there. In that directory only some files like "#9164565 , #546631" like those are there , may be they are blocks

i want all my root file system.
how can i get it,
any inputs is great help to me

have you done any fsck on any partitions?

Are you certain that you mounted the correct partition. You might try unmounting it and running fsck.

yes buddies,
prior to that i did fsck , thats why only those bad blocks came into that "lost+found" directory.I mounted correct partition only. but it is not showing any other folders like /etc or /opt or /root

what will be the reason for this???

sounds like you may have trashed your disc.
what have you done to cause it.
did you only have 1 partition?

yes i have only one partition .. and swap ..thts all..around 5 people are using..the same linux system as server....
disk memory increased so...it used bad blocks which we have previously.
really i dont know..how they came.....how to recover my linux PC.
any one have inputs to me
