Lightbulb Making .ttf Fonts


can anyone tell me how i can make my own ttf fonts?
or write my own program that can?
posably useing QT?

can you do this with gimp? or any other program
that comes with redhat 9?

You'll have to do some research, but it's definatly doable.

Here's a starting place

The only decent program I know of that can do this is pfaedit. But making a good font is a long and arduous process ... chances are this is something you do NOT want to do.
