Making an automake project with directory hierarchy in KDevelop

Hi, I wanted to add a project into another project in KDevelop. I wanted to place it into another subdirectory for easy reading. So I've looked for a way to do this and found this link:

http://www.kdevelop.org/mediawiki/in..._hierarchy_.3F

I've done all the steps, copied all the header and source file (except for the main source) from the other project. When I run configure it says this error:

Quote:
config.status: error: cannot find input file: Test_GUI/Makefile.in
I didn't copy the Makefile.am and Makefile.in from the Test_GUI project because I accidentally imported it and now I can't even configure/ automake that project.

Can anybody help me here? Is it because I did something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

When I build only the Test_GUI subproject, it said this:

Quote:
/home/benang/myGame/src/Test_GUI/Box.h:22:17: error: SDL.h: No such file or directory
BTW, I'm still a beginner programmer in Linux (especially with KDevelop IDE). Mostly I do Windows or even DOS (how I missed my Turbo C+++ ). When I made the Test_GUI into a separate "Simple SDL program" with the "New Project" wizard, it runs just fine.

==> me!
