Now i am giving details of bootable disk.
We can create bootable disks with three types
1)Boot(boot.img)- Use this boot image to create a boot disk for installing Red Hat Linux from a CD or from a copy Red Hat on the local disk
2)Network Boot(bootnet.img) - Create a boot disk from this image for instaling Red Hat Linux over a network(NFS, HTTP, or FTP)
3)PCMCIA support(pcmcia.img) - use this image if u need to use a PCMCIA adapter to install Red Hat Linux( Suc as LAN card or your laptop)
I will give some more information for bootable disk
After creating boot floppy copy the following files from CD-1
those are restorrb.exe, fips.exe and errors.txt. These files are located in dosutils/fips20 in CD-1
I am giving one more way......
follow the steps
1) Insert redhat CD. this may be d: or e:
2)insert blank formated disket
3)change dosutils directory (cd \dosutils)
4) Run the 'rawrite' command as follows
It will give one message like
