Looking for javax.comm for Linux in oracle.com

Hi, I'm new here. I'm searching javax.comm package for linux (Gentoo). I can't see a download link here http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/ja...sp-141752.html . I'm new with "Java Communications" so I don't know where I can get this. It's for my thesis.

If anyone knows, please let me know.

It would seem rxtx.org is gone.

http://www.agaveblue.org/howtos/Comm_How-To.shtml
http://java.sun.com/products/javacom...aqs/index.html
http://edn.embarcadero.com/article/31915

People seem to have started commenting on this fact but no one's changed their article's links as yet.
From the first link above, note that http://www.linux.org.uk/~taj/rxtx-bins.1.tar.gz seems to offer something.
Or from https://forums.oracle.com/forums/thr...readID=1316414 there's http://llk.media.mit.edu/projects/pi.../javaxcomm.zip

Hi -

Actually javax.comm was never really supported, even by Sun.

Rxtx might be a good alternative for you:

You might also want to look at serialio.com:
