looking for good reference book for QT

I'm a newbie programmer with basic C++ skill and i want to program under linux (don't have the money to buy those fancy programming tools ^_^).

I'm looking for a good reference book and thinking about buying :
sam's qt programming in 24 hours

Are these books a good book for a beginer ?

Thanks in advance

"programming with qt "
This is the book that I bought to learn Qt. It is OK to learn Qt but it is a little dated.

"Are these books a good book for a beginer ?"
"Programming with Qt " by Dalheimer is good for learning Qt. However, Dalheimer assumes that he is talking to an experienced programmer who happens not to know Qt. If you are an inexperienced programmer then you will find this book tough sledding.
