Linux version of 'Game coding complete'?

I recently read Mike McShaffreys book 'Game Coding Complete' (although much of it was way over my head as a relative newbie). The book is very interesting although he's a Windows programmer and so the book is heavily Windows oriented.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a comparable book for those of us who would like to have a go at games based coding using Linux.

I would recommend McShaffreys book to amyone interested in games programming, as I said it was a bit too advanced for me but it left me with a newfound respect for games programmers, I'll never look at a game the same way again, especially the 3D stuff.

Look at OpenGL for game programming. It's the same concepts with different implementation.

I`m not sure that this is exactly what you want but take a look

I have a book, "Programming Linux Games." It's a decent book, but there isn't much 3D stuff, and it's more aimed at the beginner programmer.
