linux mobiles with voip


hi all
i have a question about viop software...
there are some windows mobile phones..
these mobile have some third party voip softwares to make calls from mobile using those softwares...
is there any voip software to work in linux mobile?
i come across with "gizmo"..
how they are developing this for mobile..
i would like to develop voip for mobiles?
can you please suggest me how can i?

please help me.

many linux phones run a standard kernel.

Ekiga or Twinkle may be what you're looking for. Do you want to work on existing software or develop new software? For which phone?

i would like to develop new software.
for linux mobiles...
for motorokre6

A good project would be to add (or improve) SIP applications to either the N800 or an OpenMoko phone. Did you get your project off the ground yet?
