I suggest you to create a partition. Install RH 7.2 in this partition. So you just use this distro for Kylix programming purpose. Ok, if you are Slackware die-hard fans...... install glibc that Kylix 3 need in /usr/local ( just a suggestion... you don't have to install in this directory ). In Kylix 3, set the preferences so that your Kylix use that glibc not the default one in your Slack system.
I have read a similar thread in this subforum. Some people have difficulties set Kylix 3 in Fedora or in RH9. I believe the case are similar. Search it.
