javax.media.jai.RenderedOp to byte[]

Hi,

Does anyone know a way to covert a javax.media.jai.RenderedOp to byte[]?

I can create a RenderedOp from a byte[] with:

Code:
RenderedOp render =
JPEGDescriptor.create(SeekableStream.wrapInputStream(new ByteArrayInputStream(new byte[100]), true),null);
but no idea how to convert it back after I am done manipulating the image.
