Java Thread cleanup

Hi,

I scaled a java application with the use of Threads.

Basically each new request creates a new Thread and the request is processed on the new thread, while the main thread waits for more requests.

I want to know if Java cleans up the spawned thread after execution of the spawned thread is complete?. If not, how to explicitly clean up the new Thread after it's done?

Thanks

You should never have to worry about cleanup when using java. The garbage collector should take care of it.
